Zaremba, Boris, Dr.
Short Bio
Boris Zaremba holds a degree in business engineering (Dipl.-Wi.-Ing.) from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany. Besides his main studies he completed a supplementary course program in cultural sciences. He gained practical experience when working for METRO Group, LSG Sky Chefs, and Airbus in the field of purchasing, finance, and production.
Boris gained international experience as an exchange student at Linköping University, Sweden, and through internships in Denmark and Belgium. In 2010, he joined Global Advanced Manufacturing Institute (GAMI) in Hangzhou, China, a KIT-affiliated project bureau, to write his final thesis. In cooperation with a German machine tool manufacturer he developed a sourcing process that accounts for the special characteristics and challenges on the Chinese market.
