Short Bio

Christoph G. Schmidt is a Senior Researcher and Lecturer at the Chair of Logistics Management. He obtained his doctoral degree from EBS University for Business and Law in Wiesbaden, Germany. Christoph holds a master’s degree in information systems management from the Technical University of Munich, Germany. He also studied at the KTH Stockholm, Sweden.

His research interests in operations and supply chain management include supply chain risks and disruptions, sustainable practices and performance along the supply chain, and the intersection of social media technologies and supply chain management. Christoph is a member of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), the Manufacturing & Service Operations Management Society (MSOM) and the International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association (IPSERA).
