Short Bio
Moritz Peter is a tenured Full Professor for Procurement Management at the external pageSchool of Engineering of the AACSB-accredited Hochschule Pforzheim in Germany. Prior he served as vice-president, head of campus, program director and professor at the International School of Management (ISM) in Germany. He mainly teaches procurement and supply chain management for which he has received multiple best teacher awards.
Moritz Peter holds a degree in Business Administration (Dipl.-Kfm.) from the University of Mannheim, Germany, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from California Lutheran University, USA, and a PhD from ETH Zurich. In his doctoral research at the Chair of Logistics Management at ETH Zurich, Moritz Peter focused on strategic, operational, financial, and contractual supply chain risk mitigation.
Moritz Peter gained first hand practical experience working in the finance and procurement department of Mercedes Benz Cars & Vans for five years and in management consulting with Porsche Consulting.
