Short Bio
Ivana Mateska holds a double degree from Jacobs University Bremen, Germany: a Bachelor of Arts in International Logistics Management and a Bachelor of Science in International Logistics Engineering. She pursued a Master’s degree in Technology policy at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, for which she was supported by a Pexim-Cambridge Scholarship.
During her studies she gained practical experience at Airbus Operations, Bremen, Germany and at the European Aviation Safety Agency, Cologne, Germany.
After graduation she worked for almost three years at the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister in Charge of Economic Affairs at the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, where she mostly focused on developing and implementing innovation, technology and research policies. Furthermore, she was engaged in several projects at local NGOs.
She obtained her PhD at the Chair of Logistics Management, at the Department of Management. Technology and Economics at ETH Zurich. Her studies were supported by the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships for Foreign Scholars.
Her research interests lie in the area of innovation and sustainability trends in supply chain management.
