Short Bio

Eckhard Lindemann became a research fellow at the Chair of Logistics Management at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich after obtaining a Ph.D. from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, Germany, in 2008. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) Munich. In fall 2007, he spent several months as a visiting scholar at the Department of Marketing at Miami University, Oxford, USA.

Currently he is a logistics manager at Bosch Rexroth AG, where he gains practical experience in various areas of industrial management, supply chain management, and logistics in Germany and China.

His research interests broadly encompass the areas of logistics and supply chain management, with a special focus on the management of buyer-supplier relationships. His research has appeared or is forthcoming in such journals as Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business Logistics, Journal of Supply Chain Management, Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, Production Planning & Control, and Sociological Methods & Research.
